Privacy

The cheapest way to protect your data is not to collect it.

This site runs no analytics, sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts. The only personal data we hold from this website is what you deliberately type into the contact form.

What we do not collect

To be explicit, because most privacy notices are not:

  • No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent.
  • No tracking cookies. We set no cookies for advertising, profiling or measurement.
  • No third-party scripts. No tag manager, no chat widget, no social embeds, no font CDN. Nothing on this site makes your browser talk to another company.
  • No ROI calculator data. The calculator computes entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are never transmitted, stored or logged — not even in aggregate.

Because we do not do any of this, there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.

What we do collect

1. What you send us

If you complete the contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation and message you provide, plus which of the two enquiry types you selected. We use it for one purpose: to answer you.

  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated), and where relevant, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
  • Retention: enquiries are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted.
  • Sharing: your enquiry is seen only by the CITRIS people who need to answer it. We do not sell, rent or share it with anyone for marketing.

2. One functional preference

Your choice of colour theme is stored in your browser's local storage under the key citris-theme. It never leaves your device and is not personal data — it is a display setting. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

3. Security and delivery logs

Our hosting and edge provider processes technical data — IP address, user agent, request path and timestamp — for the purposes of delivering the site, mitigating attacks and enforcing rate limits on the contact form. This is necessary for the service to function and to remain secure.

  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests (network and information security).
  • Retention: per our provider's standard retention, typically short-lived.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from automated submissions. We chose it specifically because it works without tracking visitors across sites and without behavioural profiling.

International transfers

Our edge provider operates a global network and may serve this site from, or route requests through, a location outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally it is protected by the provider's data-processing agreement and appropriate safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased
  • Restrict or object to our processing of it
  • Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email privacy@citrisglobal.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Customer data in the Artec Neo platform

This notice covers the website only. Where CITRIS operates the Artec Neo platform for a customer, CITRIS is a data processor and the customer is the controller. Those responsibilities are set out in the data-processing agreement that forms part of the customer contract, not here.
